The return of Kevin Levrone to the Olympia stage is the talk of this years competition. Being over 50 years old, Kevin Levrone is one that if anybody could make a comeback at that age, he would have the best chance. His joints are that of a 20-year old. His body is rested and healthy. And from these last pictures, he’s looking damn good.
Kevin is known to grow into a show. He’d start his Olympia preparation at 180 lbs, and 16-weeks later he’d be a ripped 240-250. Pics from a few days ago shows Kevin in the same pose with an infamous precontest video filmed where he posed in the gym in 1997, where he is actually bigger now than before, sporting the same crazy arms and round muscle bellies. Word is Kevin is over 250 lbs, and at 5 weeks out, that’s plenty of time for Kevin to keep growing and growing.
Many believe Kevin will try to play the small, streamlined look, but he responded to RXMuscle’s Dave Palumbo that he is in fact going to come in big. I agree, that this is a good strategy considering the size of the competition today, and I believe when Kevin comes big, he does not lose his aesthetics but does have even more POP to his muscles.
